Some common questions and issues we've had with the JapanInYourPalm.com hot sync

Q1.  I can't click through on the links on the main JapanInYourPalm.com page on my handheld.

A1a.  Be sure your AvantGo Channel Properties for JapanInYourPalm.com/palm are set properly:
         Title:   Japan In Your Palm.com
         Location URL:   http://www.japaninyourpalm.com/palm
         Maximum Channel Size:   200k
         Link Depth:   5
         Include Images:   Yes
         Follow Off-site Links:   No
         Refresh:   on every sync

A1b.  Perhaps you're out of space on your handheld computer.  JapanInYourPalm.com/palm needs about 185k
         of  space to function properly.  That's in addition to the 400K you need for AvantGo to run.  You can check 
         the memory available on your Palm OS device by starting on the home screen, tap the menu icon, then 
         click on "Info"

A1c.  Try hot syncing again.  Once in a while, AvantGo's server's have seem to have an issue with our site.  
         Re-syncing has often solved the problem.

A1d.  If non of the above seems to work, please edit the JapanInYourPalm.com channel on AvantGo by marking 
         "Folow Off-Site Links" to YES.  There really are no offisite links from our handheld site, but this seem to 
         work in some cases.

Q2.  I don't seem to be loading the latest version of JapanInYourPalm.com on my handheld

A2.  Be sure you are syncing to the correct AvantGo account.  Some people have forgotten they had set up an  
       AvantGo account some time ago and have since created a new one.  Your hotsync/Mobile Link software 
       may be accessing that old account, on which you don't have JapanInYourPalm.com in your personal 
       channels.

Q3.  The AvantGo sync doesn't seem to work at my work computer.

A3.  Perhaps your work computer's access to the internet is secured by a firewall.  Click here.

We're working on establishing a partnership with AvantGo currently.  Soon we will be listed on AvantGo's site itself and perhaps the automatic channel feature will become more robust.
