Elegant, formal Italian dining with a great view of Peace Park.  Menu is in Italian and Japanese.  Famous for their fresh pizza and seafood dishes.

Walking directions
Emerge from the southern end of Peace Park onto Peace Boulevard.  Cross the bridge to your left (heading east towards Hijiyama Park).  Just over the bridge, you'll see the Hotel Sunroute building on your right.  The restaurant is on the 15th floor of the hotel.

Viale Menu

The menu is in Japanese and Italian.  Some of the Italian looks familiar.  All of the food is top notch, hence you really can't go wrong by just picking and choosing.

Chef Consiglio di Stagione
Includes:  Antipasti, Primi piatti, Secondi piatti, 1/2 pizza, Dolce, Pane, and Coffee or Tea, 3800 yen

Viale Stagione
Includes: Antipasti, Primi piatti, Secondi, piatti, another Secondi piatti, Dolce, Pane, and Coffee or Tea, 5000 yen

Piemonte Stagione
Includes: Antipasti, Primi piatti or Pizza, Dolce, Pane, Coffee or Tea, 2800 yen

There are about 12 Antipasti selections, 15 Primi piatti selections, 18 Secondi piatti selections, 5 Pizzas and plenty of "kiss your diet goodbye" desserts.

You may order any of the antipasti, primi piatti, or secondi piatti dishes separately.. prices varied between 1500 yen an 2500 yen for each item.

The antipasto misto dell "Viale" antipasta dish was nice.  As was the mixed Pizza "viale".
