Torichou

One of the nicer Yakitori restaurants in town.  Varied menu with many items besides Yakitori.  Pleasant staff.  Close to the downtown Ford building.

Directions
From Tenmaya corner:
Walk east (towards train station).  Make a left at the 2nd light.  The restaurant is just past the first corner on your left (see photo).  Shortly after Mos Burger.
From Rihga Royal Hotel:
Walk south towards Sogo department store.  Make a left and go east past the major Tenmaya dept store intersection.  Make a left at the 2nd light past Tenmaya.  Torichou is just past the first corner on your left.  Shortly after Mos Burger.

I highly recommend the kamameshi dish.  It's a combination of rice, crab, mushroom, and egg peas.  Delicious!  It's not the traditional yakitori type of meal on a stick, but very nice.  
Also recommended:  Skewered items: white meat kashiwa,   beefsteak plant & chicken shisomaki
And of course, please try the skewered asparagus.
