Sawa No Tsuru

Excellent food and a pleasant owner who enjoys serving and speaking with foreigners. The chef serves you from behind an open-fire gill from a long paddle. Non grilled salads and sushi also available. Frequented by the Ford crowd. Say hello to the owner, Tenchou-san.

Directions
From Tenmaya corner:
Walk east towards Mitsukoshi. Make a right at the first traffic light (corner of Mitsukoshi). Head south, count 2 blocks on your right. The first block is the Hondori mall. Sawa No Tsuru is just past that second block on your right above a bakery. Look for the red lanterns and long flight of stairs. 2nd floor.
From Rihga Royal Hotel:
Head south the the main Sogo department store intersection. Turn left and walk east along the street car line. One traffic light past Tenmaya department store, make a right. See the directions above (From Tenmaya)

Favorite dishes

It's all quite good, but I enjoy the rolled bacon and asparagus especially. The crab salad is also very good.
