Directions
Find Tenmaya. Walk south along Chou Dori (the only street without streetcar tracks). Go for 2 blocks and then turn left in towards Nagarekawa. (There's a brown brick building here on the corner that has the Asahi Beer Hall on the top floor.) Almost immediately on your right is the building entrance for Marlene (and Le Non). You'll see a cheesy looking illuminated sign sitting on the sidewalk with the name Le Non on it and descriptions of shot drink packages, etc. The stairway is right by the sign. Take the stairs up to the 2nd floor and Marlene is right in front of you. |
Description
An interesting place to go sing and have a
few drinks. There's a long bar in here and you're waited on by a
staff of about 4 or 5 young women who seem to have part time jobs
memorizing karaoke lyrics. The bar is a fairly well-lit room with
mirrors all down the side of one wall (it helps with the mental image of
space).
