Directions From Tenmaya corner: Walk south down the busy Chuo dori street. Make a right (cross the wide street) at the 2nd light. Walk to the end (you're in the Hondori mall now), and make a left. You'll see the Parco department store ahead of you. Go around Parco to the right. Continue walking south past Parco (tree lined street), pass the Subway sandwich shop on your left. King's K is located on your left, just before the 3rd block past Subway. A street level entrance leads to the bar in the basement. |
Description When you enter this place, it almost feels like you're going into a spaceship or something. At the bottom of the stairs, your first instinct of where you should enter is deceiving. It's almost like a secret door to get in. Once inside you'll find the bathroom even more cleverly disguised/hidden behind what appears to be the entrance to some kind of elevator. The inside of the bar reminds me of the drawings by H.R. Giger (artist who's drawings inspired the Alien movies) with kind of a dark sci-fi feel to it. An interesting place to hang out with the funky surroundings. |
