Directions Find Tenmaya. Walk south along Chou Dori (the only street without streetcar tracks). Go 2 blocks and turn left towards Nagarekawa. (There's a brown brick building on the corner that has the Asahi Beer Hall on the top floor.) Walk down this street past the first intersection. Look up and you'll see a sign for the Sumatra Tiger overhead. Enter the building on your right and take the elevator/stairs up to the 5th floor. |
Description The sawdust on the floor may give you the impression that you've walked into the wrong place. No woodworking projects going on here, the sawdust is there for effect. There are a couple of tables along the walls and a decent sized L-shaped bar. They play a good selection of hard rock & popular music. Feel free to thumb through the CD collection and make a request.
