Directions Find Tenmaya. Walk west along the main street (with the streetcars). Go past Fukuya department store and turn left into the covered shopping street. Go straight until you reach Parco. Turn right at Parco and continue along the main Hondori (covered shopping street). About 1/2 way before you reach the first major intersection on Hondori you'll see a Pachinko on your left-hand side. Next to the Pachinko is a small entranceway leading to the elevator and a set of wide stairs. Pay your cover charge to the person waiting there and take the stairs up to 2F. Note: the door guard on the 2nd floor might ask you to leave your purse/bag in one of the 100 Yen pay lockers on the stairway landing. |
Description This used to be Club Muse Hiroshima, but underwent re-styling and re-naming at the end of 2000. If you're looking for something bigger than the tiny hole-in-the-wall places piled in Nagarekawa, this is a place worth checking out. When you first walk in there is an eclectic, funky, casual bar on the right hand side with various tables and a big bar to sit at. This room probably could fit around 50 people. As you walk around the hallway to your left you can hear the dance music coming through and you end up coming into a big room with a huge dance floor on one end and a modest, wide bar on the other. There are a few small tables scattered around and a back section with some seating booths. If you love dancing and/or dance music this place is a blast. From time to time they have special DJs spinning and the cover charge goes up a bit. But it's a fun change and worth checking out. Since it's been recently renovated it's very clean and sharp looking. |
