Directions Find Tenmaya. Walk east along the main street with the streetcar tracks up to the corner by Mitsukoshi. Turn right at that corner and head into Nagarekawa. About 5 or 6 blocks down you'll come to a Billy the Kid karaoke studio on your right.. Turn left at that corner. Halfway in the middle of the block on your right there's a small hallway-type outdoor entrance which leads into a couple of bars. At the end of that hallway you'll find the door to Cover with a black & white sign overhead. |
Description Tucked off down one of the numerous side streets cutting through the heart of Nagarekawa is Cover. When you step inside the small bar you first have to let your eyes adjust to the low light level. You then find a relaxing atmosphere that plays a variety of good music and an occasional music movie of some sort. Sometimes they'll have a band playing (but not often). This is a fun place to hang out in and listen to music. If it's not too crowded you can look through the piles of CDs yourself and put together your own sound experience for the evening. When you go, make sure you get one of the bartender's meishi. It's printed on that non-tearable paper so that will keep you entertained for a good 30 minutes putting it to the test (or at least it did for me...).
