Walking Directions
Find Tenmaya. Walk east along the main street (with the streetcars). Walk towards Mitsukoshi and make your first right, heading into Nagarekawa. Take your first left and look for the Bar J sign overhead about halfway down the block on your right. Take the elevator to the fifth floor. The entrance is next to the bar.

Description
Surprisingly large (for Japan) & busy bar on the 5^th floor near the "top" of Nagarekawa. It has an extensive multi-page drink menu covering a wide variety of hard liquors & mixed drinks (make sure you brush up on your katakana, though). There's also a food menu with some light to medium snacks, but I haven't tried the food. They have a large projection TV that they seem to play movies on (when we were there, they had a Kevin Costner-a-thon going on with the Bodyguard and Field of Dreams). Hopefully you know how the story goes because I don't think they play any sound (just Japanese subtitles). Overall a lively and energetic atmosphere.
