Driving Directions
This is a bit north of the Mazda complex (5-10 minute taxi ride).

By car from downtown: take the main streetcar line east.  Remain on this road (i.e. don't veer off to the left towards the train station).  Cross the large trestle bridge (over the JR tracks).  Make a right at the next main intersection (sort of the end of the road).  Continue east through several lights for about 5 minutes.  Pass the major T intersection with Mos Burger and 7-11 on the right.  Make a left at the following traffic light (just past a KFC & a large Pachinko parlor).  At the end of this short road you'll see many taxis, a large parking lot, and the largest Japanese restaurant you ever saw.  Park your car (for free) and walk across the wooden bridge.

Description
This is quite a unique bar and restaurant by Hiroshima, and even Japanese standards.  A huge lawn leads up to the old Kirin factory headquarters building.  The pine trees and a large outdoor deck alongside a man-made pond/stream combine to make for a beautiful entrance.  On nice days they serve an all-you-can-eat/drink buffet on the deck.  This will run  you about about 3500 Yen (cheaper for woman and children).  You may also choose to dine from the regular menu inside.  The meals are outstanding (bring someone to read the Japanese-only menu) and there is a larger selection of Kirin beer on tap than you ever realize existed (somewhere around 12 –16 varieties). In addition to the outdoor terrace and indoor restaurant, there is also a large "pub" that seems to provide a relaxed atmosphere and mainly focuses on the liquids.  If you're feeling confident with your Japanese, check out Kirin Beer Park's home page.
