Popular Korean restaurant in the Kanayama-Cho section.  Frequented by baseball players and other celebrities.  Excellent bibimba!

Walking directions
From Tenmaya corner:
Walk east along streetcar line.  Make a right at the 4th traffic light east of Tenmaya (there is a large red sign over the street on your right).  Shokudouen is on the first corner on your left.  Look for the yellow canopy.
From Rihga Royal Hotel:
Walk south towards Sogo.  Cross the main intersection.  Make a left on streetcar line and walk east past the Tenmaya department store corner.
Make a right at the 4th traffic light east of Tenmaya (there is a large red sign over the street on your right).  Shokudouen is on the first corner on your left.  Look for the yellow canopy.

Favorite dishes

The ishiaki yukke bibimba is the best I've had in Hiroshima. You cook the 'raw' ingredients yourself by mixing them in a very hot stone bowl.  The fresh vegetable salad is delicious as well.
