We're often asked to name the best restaurant in Hiroshima. Any of the 50+ restaurants mentioned on this site can easily be on the top of the list. Your favorite will depend on your taste and experience. We're sure you'll enjoy any of these.

If we had to name our top 5, places that we'll be telling our friends about for years, places that had a special host or owner, a dish we'd do anything for once we returned to our home country, then we'd have to select the following 5 restaurants in Hiroshima.

Aimée Bistro 082-241-5454 2-19 Mikawa-cho, Naka-Ku GPS: N34º 23.444' E132º 27.544' Hours: 11:30-2pm and 6pm-11pm		Elegant French Bisto near Namiki St. behind Parco. Lunch special includes appetizer, main course, dessert and drink for 1500 yen. You've got to love a restaurant that keeps bringing you free warm French bread. This is very rare in Japan. Large wine selection.

Keyton Curry Restaurant 082-211-1177 12-20 Noborimachi, Naka-Ku GPS: N34º 23.650' E132º 27.900' Hours: 11am to 9pm, everyday		Very delicious Japanese style curry. Quiet restaurant located around the corner from the downtown Ford building. A convenient Ford favorite for lunch or dinner.

Musashi GPS: N34º 23.597' E132º 27.530'		You'll find several of these popular Musashi Udon restaurants in downtown Hiroshima and other parts of Japan. Many people consider this to be the best Udon in Hiroshima. Old and traditional Japanese decor. There is also a carry-out window.

Sushi-Tei 082-249-1808 GPS: Coordinates coming soon. Hours: 5pm-12am, Sun & Holiday: 12pm to 10pm		You'll find several of these popular sushi restaurants in downtown Hiroshima. The prices are very reasonable, the sushi is fresh and always delicious. Low key, but energetic atmosphere.

Vascas Beer & Tapas 082-246-7704 1-3-14 Kokutaiji-Cho, Naka-Ku GPS: N34º 23.275' E132º 27.345' 5:30pm to 11pm, closed Sundays		Wonderful quiet Spanish restaurant next to the downtown post office. Lots of great dishes to choose from. You'll wish you had more room to fit it all. Most of the dish selections are laid out on the bar.
